Work was fun today. Someone sent an email to a mailing list about a training class. People started sending replies to the mailing list asking to be removed, which meant those emails went to everyone on the mailing list. Then people started sending emails to the mailing list asking people to stop hitting “reply all” (not the same thing). Then people started sending emails to the mailing list with instructions on how to automatically have the emails deleted from your inbox. I counted over three hundred emails before it stopped.
