Sinead O’Connor passed away yesterday. I didn’t listen to her music (not my taste) and barely paid attention to the controversies she created. My favorite moment involving her occurred in season 16 of Saturday Night Live in 1991. That’s Jan Hooks as O’Connor, Phil Hartman as Sinatra, Sting as Billy Idol, Chris Rock as Luther Campbell (remember 2 Live Crew?), Mike Myers as Steve Lawrence, and Victoria Jackson as Eydie Gorme.
