The insurance company for the other party in the accident has 1) acknowledged that it’s liable for my car’s damage and 2) declared my car a total loss, which isn’t surprising given that it’s fourteen years old and has over 300,000 miles. I was surprised at the amount it offered me; it was about three times what I expected.

Last night I was changing the dressing on my knee and discovered one of the pins protruding from it. I went to the doctor today. He pulled it out with a pair of pliers. He sad if the other one comes out I’ll need surgery again. I go back in two weeks.
