The COVID-19 Diary: Friday 24 February

I work with a lot of people based in India. Since they’re 10.5 hours ahead of me it’s hard to find times to meet but we usually try our best. Then yesterday there was the person that just had to meet with me as soon as possible about a spreadsheet I sent them. I met with them at 1 AM my time because that was the only available time on their calendar and answered every question they had by showing them where they already had the information. I think they were embarrassed. They should have been.

I started playing World of Warcraft again. I usually return to it every couple of years when they release new content. I was pretty hardcore back in the day when you and your guildmates would go on 40 person raids. Now I mostly fish and drink non alcoholic beer while I sit on long, boring conference calls.
