My online shopping over the past 24 hours consisted of two 8TB hard drives and 2 V-neck sweaters. We’ll see how the internet trackers factor those purchases into the ads that show up on the web sites I browse.

Around 4 PM I decided I needed a nap. When I woke up it was dark. I had been dead asleep. I saw some light on outside, which I thought was odd for the middle of the night. I looked at the clock. 7:52 PM. I got up, did some work I didn’t want to put off until tomorrow, and had dinner. I probably won’t be able to sleep tonight, but so what? The days don’t matter anymore. Why should the hours?

I see that UK (barely) beat Vanderbilt today. I’m not sure a 3-4 team hanging on to beat an 0-6 team is much to write about. OFL’s (Our Friend Lori’s) Florida Gators play Arkansas tonight. Lots of games are postponed for obvious reasons.
Fortunately, my D&D game is virtual, so we’re playing tomorrow.

Big Sur, this year’s update to macOS was released yesterday. I just upgraded my laptop. It seems to run faster, but the new look is going to take some getting used to. I was jarred by the default desktop wallpaper:

Much better. It’s a so-called dynamic image, which means the light level changes throughout the day. I’ll see if it’s still tolerable during daylight hours.
