Rae and I watched the 1989 Batman movie today. In the movie the Joker puts poison into health and beauty products, so people start looking disheveled and politicians argue about whether public events should take place. It was a little too close to reality.

I watched the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian today. It was fun. It’s a fun show. Recommended if you like Star Wars, science fiction, or westerns.

Early voting in the Georgia runoff elections started on Monday. Rae and I voted today. Tonight we have board meetings. Chipotle is on the way.

The new furnace is in. The garage is warmer but still a little on the cool side. I’m going to put a thermostat sensor in there so it gets warmer. Hopefully the rest of the basement won’t become a sauna as a result.

We played D&D today. When I was preparing for the session I made some educated guesses about what the players would do and planned accordingly. Of course, when we were playing the players were about to go off the map I had created with about 30 minutes to go. Fortunately, I know how to handle that. It’s called a (not so) random encounter. I threw some monsters at them, we had some fun combat, and called it a game.

We still need to put up our Christmas tree. When I lived in Richmond, VA I knew a family that didn’t put their tree up until Christmas Eve. Their rationale was that until the 24th it wasn’t Christmas; it was Advent. They were solid Episcopalians.
