As expected, I bought a new downstairs furnace today. As part of the installation on Tuesday I’m getting vents added to the workshop and garage so I can have a temperature controlled man cave.

The furnace company I use is coming on Friday for routine maintenance. They’re probably going to tell me that I should replace instead of repair least one furnace and if they do I’m probably going to say okay.

It’s still unseasonably cold here. I’m getting more firewood on Wednesday. A fire in the fireplace doesn’t keep the house warmer, but it feels nice.

I had my annual physical yesterday. Everything is fine, but I should lose some weight. I was down to the maximum weight I should be but I’ve gained it back since March. Thanks, COVID.
(That’s just an excuse. It’s my own fault and I know how to fix it. Time to go for a walk.)

Rae celebrated her 20th birthday yesterday. We did cake and presents and she spent some time with her friends in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I think her best present might have been the news that she was selected for the WRFL board of directors and was named the Local Music Director. Happy birthday and congratulations!
