I held a project status call today with the project sponsors; three directors. It’s scheduled for 30 minutes. I gave my update in 10 minutes and asked if there were any questions. One director (my boss’s boss) had one. I answered it and asked the other members of the project team if they had anything they wanted to discuss. They took 5 minutes to do that. I asked if there were any more questions. Silence. I thanked everyone ended the call 15 minutes early.
It’s nice when a project is going well. Directors are quiet and we all get time back on our calendars.
