bookmark_borderThe COVID-19 Diary: Wednesday 05 May

I had to print a shipping label today. I hadn’t used my printer in months. The label came out too faint to use. I cleaned the print heads, replaced the ink cartridges, and cleaned the print heads again. The label still came out too faint to use. I tried printing some other documents. They were a little faint, but usable. I tried copying the label into a new document and printing it. It came out too faint to use. I hate printers.

Sunday afternoon inner dialog:
(I stand up and walk from the family room to my office.)
My brain: “Why did I get up? Why am I going to the office? I have no idea.”
(I walk back to the family room.)
My brain: Did I get up to go to the bathroom? To get something to drink? No, I don’t do either of those things in the office.”
(I sit back down.)
My brain: “Maybe I was going to get my watch. I don’t think that was it, but my watch should be finished charging so I should get up and go get it. But I just sat back down. Do I want to get right back up since I just sat down? I can finish updating the web site and then go get it. No, I should go get it now before I forget even though I don’t think it was why I got up in the first place. Why did I get up in the first place? I don’t feel like I forgot why I got up in the first place. I feel like I got up for no reason.”
(I get up, get my watch, and sit back down.)
My brain: “I should put this on the web site. Why did I get up to begin with?”

Stay healthy and safe.
